Our mission is to
Answer our call to social justice and ecological sustainability by supporting the marginalized and vulnerable in the Philadelphia region with housing, life-skill and job readiness resources through social services, partnerships, and programs for training and jobs.
Honor our Quaker heritage through programs and local partnerships that are healing and restorative to neighborhoods that have suffered the impacts of unjust public policy, while promoting fiscal, environmental, and community resilience throughout the Philadelphia region.
Our vision is
A racially and economically just Philadelphia region where communities that once experienced economic neglect are thriving, and have safe, energy-efficient, and attainable housing opportunities, vibrant greenspace, and an abundance of resources to meet the needs of the vulnerable.
FRP exists to mend and serve the Greater Philadelphia Region guided by the Quaker testimonies of simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality, and stewardship. The grace of the spaces we create reflects our respect for those we serve and so we do this work with the conviction that beauty is a right for all.
